HunaTrainer.Com 032 – Integrating the Princples

Lets integrate all of the Huna princples into single cohesive system.

  • Quick review of the Huna system
    • 3 selves – Ku, Lono, Aumakua
    • 4 realities – Physical, Psychic, Symbolic, Holistic
    • 7 Principles –
    • IKE. The world is what you think it is.
    • Kala. There are no limits.
    • Makia. Energy flows where attention goes
    • Manawa. Now is the moment of Power.
    • Aloha. To love is to be happy with.
    • Mana. All power comes from within.
    • Pono. Effectiveness is the measure of truth.
  • We’ve separated in order to in integrate – so now that the separation is complete, lets integrate
  • To create change:
    • Ike: become aware of what you want to change
    • Kala: Let go of what was
    • Makia: Focus on what you want
    • Manawa: Let go of the past and focus on the now of the change you’re making.
    • Aloha: Be happy with whatever degree of success you have
    • Mana: Remember, you’re the only one that has the power to change.
    • Pono: Keep doing it until you have the results you want.
    • Use your lono to focus your attention on the new thinking
    • Open a rich 2-way line of communication w/ your Ku to make sure the changes are being heard/imlemented loud and clear
    • Trust your Aumakua will manifest the change in the most perfect way, probably better than you can ever imagine.
    • Shift to 3rd level of reality and interpret everything that goes on as a reflection of yourself and the change you’re undergoing.
    • Remember that problems will come up in proportion to the degree of change you’re making and that’s your Ku sharing with you the cobwebs you need to clean out.
  • Find a away to apply the principles, selves, levels to nearly any condition and you will have created an extremely powerful tool to get anything done.
  • So, one of the keys will be to come up with ways to continually reinforce and remember the principles
  • What are some ways to remember the principles?
    • Chant
    • Colors of the rainbow
    • White. IKE.
    • Red. Kala.
    • Orange. Makia.
    • Yellow. Manawa.
    • Green. Aloha.
    • Blue. Mana.
    • Violet. Pono.
    • Days of the week –
    • Start Sunday with Ike.
    • Wear clothes w/ that color
    • Think about that principle on that day, and use 3rd level of reality to see how that day reflects that principle
  • Homework
    • Blue feather exercise: Create a rainbow – understand that the rainbow represents the integrated principles
    • Apply the principles against something you want to change
  • Advanced Homework
    • Adjust the principles to something specific in your life and report your results back on the bbs

  • Too complicated.
  • Easy way is the Huna way.
  • In fact, you’ve already done it in some degrees.

  • Secret to OBE: focusing your awareness outside of your body
  • You do it all the time, but only to the degree where 1% of your awareness is outside your body
  • Do it right now: imagine yourself at your favorite park, looking at your favorite tree.
  • 2-5%: produces richer results where it feels like you’re flying along with various physical experiences.
  • 10-50%: can be perceived by others or animals

  • 100% creates teleportation
  • Effective technique for inducing an OBE
    • Free of physical inputs or get jerked back

      • Quiet room
      • Comfortable bed
      • Good position where you won’t have to shift position
      • Set things up so that your awareness won’t be brought back to a physical sensation
    • PikoPiko except through your third eye
    • Imagine exhalation forming a cloud body of matter above you
    • Move your awareness into that cloud body
      • What would it feel like up there?
      • What would it look like up there?
      • What would it sound like up there?
      • What would it smell like up there?
    • Look around your room
    • Focus on details
    • Move around the house
    • Gradually build your confidence and fly elsewhere.
    • Things to try
      • Move at the speed of thought
      • Will yourself forward and backward through time
      • Will yourself to reconnect with departed spirits
      • Visit other planets

Why is it that you don’t have the things you want in your life?

  • We all have things that are “missing” from our lives. Things we want to have, like love, health, money, career, relationships, home, car, toys
  • Why is it that you don’t have it? What are the reasons you give?
  • Is it an external reason or internal reason? E.g. I can’t enjoy time with my kids because my job requires too many hours, is an external reason, and I have high confidence that in this case you’ll probably never reduce those hours.
  • Why? Because the problem has been defined as a power outside of ourself.
  • But, where does power really lie? Outside? Or Inside? Of course, you already know the answer, and this week we talk about the idea that all power comes from within.

  • Very difficult topic to fully realize because it’s so ingrained in our society – our government loves the blame game!
  • Was the hardest podcast to plan for so far
  • Ask yourself how many times you look to the outside for the cause or the solution
    • Spouse – relationship
    • Job – money
    • Government – Everything!
    • Foods you eat – Health
    • Weather – enjoyment
  • When you place the cause or blame on an outside entity, you give up power.
  • You don’t have the power over those things.
  • In fact, you don’t have power over anything, except one thing: You
  • Huna’s 6th principle states that all power comes from within.
  • You might think that “blaming yourself” is defeatist but it is the most empowering way to look at the world.
  • Instead of your wife, it’s your effort in the relationship!
  • Instead of your job, it’s your ability to get promoted or find another job.
  • Instead of the Government, it’s a question of what you’re doing to solve the problem.
  • Instead of the foods you eat, it’s the foods you choose to eat.
  • Instead of the weather, it’s what you decide to do in that weather.
  • By asking yourself how either you have created the situation, or what can you do about it, you take the power back because you reinforce where the power lies and that’s within you.
  • Exercise
    • Think of the #1 thing that’s missing from your life that you want the most.
    • What’s the reason you give as to why you don’t have it?
    • If it’s an internal reason, congrats! You are on your way to having it.
    • If you’re like the rest of us and you gave an external reason, think about how you can change the reason to make it an internal one – here’s the question: what am I doing or not doing that is holding me back from having this thing that I want?
  • Homework:
    • Stay very aware of your thinking. Identify other areas where you’ve decide to surrender to an outside power. Change the perspective and bring the power inside, meaning ask the question that squarely puts the cause as yours.

    • Help others realize this. Help others ask the question.

  • Big ideas we’re going to cover today:
    • Based on 3rd principle which states “Energy flows where attention goes”
    • Energy typically increases whatever it’s focused at
    • Ku doesn’t understand “not”
  • Talking about “focus” is the domain of Lono
  • Talked about Ku a lot, today we talk about Lono
  • Lono’s function is to make decisions, and focus conscious awareness.
  • If you want more of something, think more about it.
  • If you want less of something, think less about it.
  • Thinking about NOT something = thinking more about it.
    • “not sick”
    • “not fat”
    • “not poor”
  • The concept of “not” is an illusion created by man. There is no such thing in nature as “Not” and therefore it cannot be comprehended by Ku
  • Great technique to get what you want
    • Ask a question: “what is it that I need to do right now in order to get X”
    • Stay focused on the question
    • Wait for the answers and write them down
    • Start doing it, NOW
  • Instead of focusing on the fact that you really hate your job, ask yourself what is your ultimate job.
  • Instead of focusing the fact that you don’t want to be fat, ask yourself what you need to do in order to be slim.
  • Instead of focusing on what lousy relationship you’re in, focus on what you need to do to make your relationship great.
  • Instead of thinking about why sales can’t be made, focus on what you need to do to make sales.
  • One of the big problems w/ government is that they spend a ton of time on the problem, not the solution.
  • Tons of televised investigations, but how many televised brainstorms on the solution?
  • Lono is what separates us from animals: our ability to focus our attention aside from what Ku might want to do.
  • One reason why fasting is such a vital part of many religions is because it exercises Lono actions – Ku wants to eat but Lono says no.

    • Crystal – Focus your mind on the crystal, and point it to your hand – you will feel heat.

    • Catch your thinking this week and use your Lono to refocus it on more productive thinking

    • Catch someone elses thinking and help them refocus their mind on better solutions.

  • No power over the past
  • No power over the future
  • The only time you have power is RIGHT NOW.
  • Applications
  • Got money problems? What are you going to do about it RIGHT NOW
    • Don’t dwell on all the mistakes you made in the past
    • Don’t freak out about what might happen in the future if you don’t fix things up.
    • Figure out what you need to do right now and, most importantly, do it.
  • Got relationship problems? What are you going to do it RIGHT NOW
    • Don’t focus on all the bad things that you did to each other
    • Don’t second guess what might happen tommorrow based on today’s actions.
    • Figure out what you need to do right now and, most importantly, do it.
  • Dealing with a loved one’s illness?
    • Don’t overanalyze what might happen in the future.
    • Treasure the current moment you have right now with this person and have no expectations for the future?
    • Was today a good day? Great! Savor it!
    • Was today a bad day? Let it be but don’t carry it into tomorrow
  • Did you score a victory today?
    • Fully enjoy the moment, right now, completely, with no expectations for tomorrow.
    • Don’t feel “jinx guilt” for tomorrow.
    • Don’t worry about whether this victory will last forever, because it won’t anyway!
    • Give yourself permission to fully enjoy and savor the victory right now.
  • Having a terrible time right now?
    • Experience it only in the moment.
    • Don’t assume it will go on forever
    • Allow it to pass
  • Exercise
    • Become aware of how many times you rob yourself of power by trying to fix the past or control the future, neither of which you can do.
    • Catch yourself, then immediately turn your power on, in the present moment, and do something physical RIGHT NOW.
    • Feel the power!

    • Help someone else understand this. Help “snap them out of it”.
